The European Commission is currently working on the European Social Economy Action Plan for 2020-2025
(delayed for apparent reasons).
It is supposed to be a tool for systematic integration of social economy into public policies at the European level and increasing their relevance in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The European Social Economy Summit held in Mannheim in May 2021 will help prepare the Plan
Representatives of the European Commission, public and local authorities, the world of science and entrepreneurship, and finally representatives of the SE sector itself will discuss how it can contribute to the economic development in such a rapidly changing reality. The discussion will focus on issues related to the digitalization of the economy, including the social economy, social innovation, transnational and intersectoral cooperation.
