Information about the processing of personal data
In view of the applicable provisions of the GDPR framework (Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC), we provide below information on the principles of personal data processing, collected on the www.educoop.eu website, in connection with the online seminar: Role of Education in the European Action Plan for Social Economy.
The administrator of the personal data is the National Auditing Union of Workers' Cooperatives with its registered office in Warsaw at 47 Żurawia Street in regards to organizing and delivering the seminar as well as in regards to recording the event and preparing reference materials documenting the seminar. The reference materials will be published after the seminar.
In the span of the financial consolidation of the seminar and its assessment (the questionnaire), the administrator of the personal data is CECOP, the address: C/O European Cooperative House, Avenue Milcamps 105, 1030 Brussels, Belgium.
Legal basis, scope and purpose of personal data processing:
1) National Auditing Union of Workers' Cooperatives, personal data collected in the notification form about the start of registration, data processing on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a of the GDPR (consent) in order to provide information about the start of registration for the seminar; scope of data processed: e-mail address
2) National Auditing Union of Workers' Cooperatives, personal data collected in the contact form is processed pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (consent) and Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (taking action at the request of a person) in order to provide information to the person filling in the contact form; scope of data processed: name, surname, e-mail address, message content.
3) National Auditing Union of Workers' Cooperatives, personal data collected in the registration form, is processed pursuant to the Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (the agreement) in order to allow a person filling the form to participate in the seminar (by sending via email an active link to the seminar held on the Zoom Video Communications platform) and in order to collect statistical data regarding sectors of businesses and organizations interested in the seminar’s theme as well as regarding the geographical scope of the event; the scope of the processed data: name, surname, email address, an organization and a country of origin.
4) National Auditing Union of Workers' Cooperatives, personal data as data of participants or speakers on the Zoom Video Communications platform and their activity documented in the form of a visual image, sound and displayed participant’s or speaker’s nickname, is processed pursuant to the Article 6(1)(b) of GDPR (the agreement) in order to hold the seminar and the Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest of the administrator) in order to prepare and publish the reference materials documenting the event.
The recipients of the given data may be public bodies (which may receive data within the framework of a specific procedure), persons and entities providing services to NAUWC authorized by NAUWC. The recipient of the following data: name, surname, email address, an organization and a country of origin of a participant, will be CECOP which will receive the aforementioned data in order to financially close the seminar and to assess the seminar (via questionnaires sent to the participants). In regards to the reference materials, the recipients of the data may be persons and bodies that use the media where the reference materials shall be published.
National Auditing Union of Workers' Cooperatives has adopted appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that the processing of the data is carried out in accordance with the GDPR and other regulations on personal data protection. Once the purpose of processing has been achieved, personal data will be processed for archival purposes (for 3 years) and, if necessary, for the purpose of processing complaints and asserting claims, for the period resulting from legal regulations.
Rights and further information
Every data subject has the right to request access to his or her data, to rectify, erase or limit the processing, the right to transfer the data and the right to object to the transfer. These rights are not absolute and are subject to certain conditions. They also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority:

Providing the data is voluntary but necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing, i.e. notification of the start of registration for the seminar and the transfer of information through the contact form, the registration and participation in the seminar on the Zoom Video Communications platform as well as preparation and publication of the reference materials documenting the seminar.
